  • Expedition to 'The Jungle of the Mirrors'. Boat excursion on the Yanayacu River (approx. 3 hours). Observation of the change of river water color, changing from the brown and turbid color (Marañón River) to a more translucent and darker color (Yanayacu River). They are called 'black waters', characteristics of many Amazonian rivers and which owe their color to the presence of substances derived from vegetable matter. These waters clearly reflect the vegetation of the riverbank and the sky creating beautiful landscapes that are known as 'The Jungle of Mirrors'. Canoe ride and swim in the waters of the Yanayacu River.

  • Observation of forest change. The landscapes that change progressively, going from the secondary forests and small crops of the area near the communities to ecosystems of the pluvial flooded forest. Observation of pink dolphins (Inia Geoffrensis) and aquatic birds. Intermediate stops are made to observe the river dolphins.

  • Walk through the jungle in the Renaco area (approx. 2 hours). We will insert ourselves inside the Natural Reserve to observe various species of birds, monkeys, and giant trees. Arrival in the community of 'Yarina'. Installation and overnight in cabins.

  • Botanical walking towards Chingana (approx. 2 - 4 hours). We will appreciate giant trees such as Ceiba and different types of ecosystems that range from Restinga areas (areas that are not frequently flooded) to permanently flooded palm forests (Aguajales). We will learn to recognize a great diversity of plant species that local people use for medicine, food, construction, to make objects of daily use or even for "magical" purposes. Visit to Chingana Lake, the heart of the jungle. Bird watching of prehistoric class like the Hoatzin and the Hornbill. Sport fishing practice in the Soledad area. We will catch piranhas and other species.

  • Night boat tour to spot alligators. We can also see insects, frogs, and nocturnal animals.

  • Direction towards 'El Dorado', an impressive lake that is the final landmark of the Yanayacu - Pucate river basin. The trip is used to observe various species of flora and fauna. Watching the sunset in the center of the lake.

  • Fluvial excursion at sunrise to see birds that are more active at this time.
